After watching the latest episode of Safari Vet School on ITV1 in the UK, guests that stayed at Hlosi in May 2011, wrote to us reminding us of their fond memories during their stay.
She had this to say:
Hi all at Hlosi
Just a note to say we are enjoying the Safari Vet programme on our TV at the moment. It is great to see Amakhala Reserve and indeed the beautiful Hlosi Game Lodge. It's good to see an odd glimpse of Roger as well... he looks as if he is being kept on his toes!!
It has brought back fond memories of our stay with you last April and hopes for someday going back for another visit.
Kind regards
Colette
Safari Vet School was a challenge of a lifetime for 32 vet students, the cream of UK universities, who were at one of the toughest vet schools in the world.
At the Amakhala Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, the students undertook vital wildlife training on their quest to become the best vets they can be. Under the guiding hand of chief vet Dr Will Fowlds, the students tackled everything from lions to rhinos, giraffes to elephants.
